Annual Fund Raising Events
Each year, Good Samaritan Agency hosts many fundraisers to raise money to support our much needed services that we have been providing to Maine families since 1902. Two of our most popular events include the Bangor Rubber Duck Race and the Annual Bowl-A-Thon.
Bangor Rubber Duck Race – this fun, family friendly event is held in Downtown Bangor each year, typically in September. Businesses and individuals are able to sponsor a rubber duck giving them the opportunity to win a great prize. The ducks are launched into the Kenduskeag Stream by the footbridge behind the downtown parking garage and then the ducks “race” to the finish. We even save a special prize for the last duck to cross the finish line.
Annual Bowl-A-Thon-this year marks the 3rd time we’ve hosting this wonderful event! On Sunday, March 26th we will be holding this fundraiser at Family Fun Bowling Lanes on Hildreth Street in Bangor. Please contact us if you’d like to be a corporate sponsor and/or you’d like to play! Teams should consist of 5 members and the minimum pledge amount per member is $25. We can’t wait to host this event again this year as it is always a good time for everyone in attendance!
We also have an Annual Fund Campaign, which runs from July 1 to June 30 each year.

Pledges – You may choose to make your contributions in quarterly or monthly installments.
